A fifth generation Californian, Chloe Wilson was born and raised in Pacific Grove, and is an
alumnus of Youth Arts Collective, where she first began painting as a high school sophomore. She earned her BFA from the University of California at Davis, studied abroad her junior year at the Universitat de Barcelona, and continued her informal education during time spent living in Chicago and Oakland before returning to the Monterey Peninsula in 2013. She has exhibited her work nationally and internationally, most recently in a solo show at the Monterey Museum of Art.
Chloe is a member of the International Guild of Realism, as well as the Carmel Art Association –
the oldest gallery in Carmel. Her work has been featured online at Booooooom.com, Plain Magazine, and Supersonic Art. Her current body of acrylic paintings juxtaposes urban and architectural details against moody evening skies.
